Yannick Anton is an internationally recognized photographer + cinematographer who has been on a steady incline into prominence throughout various artistic communities. His intimate and eclectic photography style has been known to portray cultural events with a nuance, vibrancy and honesty that Yannick is known for. His more popular work primarily focuses on culture, race, and the historical documentation of Queer + PoC/Black spaces, bodies and lives. Anton’s private work, though thematically similar, shifts into a more focused framing of family, lineage, immigration vs. emigration, queer people of colour and the diversification and decolonization of cultural events, stories, history and communal spaces.
